Talbot Goes Purple began in 2016 in response to the opioid epidemic. Today, the initiative has evolved into a comprehensive youth substance use prevention campaign addressing fentanyl, counterfeit pills, cannabis, vaping, alcohol, and other emerging substance use trends while promoting healthy decision-making and resilience.

Talbot Goes Purple is an initiative from Talbot County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Talbot County Public Schools, Saints Peter & Paul School and Mid-Shore Community Foundation.
